Skipping Rope
Mixed-Media. 5” x 7”
These pieces are selected from my illustration series “A Drawing A Day” that I began in 2005. The project started when I decided and clearly committed myself to drawing each day. The focus in the series is: minimalism, mark-making, conveying emotion and “less is more”. There is a premise to not judge the work but to focus on just doing the work. I rarely start with a preconceived idea but draw in order to see what stories arise in the making. The drawing series continues to this day.
